Roberta Lambert

	Roberta Lambert, 81, of Mattoon, formerly of Granite City, passed away at 3 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
	She was born March 26, 1922 in Du Quoin.  She was the daughter of the late David and Edna (Hartline) Stuber.
	She is survived by four sons, Donald and wife Cindy of Marshalltown, Iowa, Maurice of Big Pine Key, Florida, Richard and wife Arefa of Boynton Beach, Florida and Randy and wife Judy of Edwardsville; two daughters, Jane and husband Don Freesmeier of Mattoon and Janet and husband Bob Scanlon of Brookeville, Maryland; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
	Roberta is survived by three sisters, Ruth Pabst of Pinckneyville, Imogene Meyer of McMinnville, Oregon and Freda Bryant of Hemet, California.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Emil and Samuel Stuber and three sisters, Maurene Caldwell, Wanda Cook and Edna Uptergraff.
	Funeral services were held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Saturday, January 24 at 10 a.m. in Granite City.  Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Irwin Chapel Funeral Home at 2801 Madison Ave. in Granite City.  Interment was at the Edwardsville Calvary Cemetery.
